National Basketball Association Instant Replay

According to an article from the New York Times, "N.B.A Expands Use of Instant Replay," the NBA referees will now be able to use instant replay throughout the game at any time. Originally, it was only used at the end of a quarter specifically for buzzer beaters. The reason for the use is to ensure an accurate game which is good for basketball.

  1. The implementation of instant replay in boxing had been discussed last year. Talks about replay would distinguish cuts caused from clean punching and cuts caused from fouls. I don't think sanctioning bodies have yet put replay into practice though.
