Tampa Bay Rays Season Homework
According to FOX Sports, The Major League Baseball Tampa Bay Rays are trying out a new tactic in preparing for upcoming games. The hitters of the Tampa Bay Rays will now have video clips of all upcoming pitchers where they can watch on laptop computers as a convenient. According to the article, Manager Joe Maddon said, "Why not give them more information in advance, where you could study it in a pretty comfortable environment, whether it's in your apartment or it's on a plane ride as opposed to just waiting until you get to the ballpark to start your mind working in that direction." The idea was is a suggestion from the hitting coach which the organization fully supports. The Tampa Bay Rays may also do the same for the pitchers of the organization where they would study upcoming hitters.

MLB Uses New Camera System
Accroding to an article, the Major League Baseball and the broadcast-tech company sportvision will install a player-tracking camera system in ballparks across the league. The point of installing this new system is to help produce accurate defensive statistics. There is a buzz that players such as Derek Jeter are getting awards for fielding experiance when statistical models says he is performing below average. in all, there is to many uknown things that happen on the field and the player-tracking camera system is installed to help insure with the accuracy of onfield activities.

National Basketball Association Instant Replay
According to an article from the New York Times, "N.B.A Expands Use of Instant Replay," the NBA referees will now be able to use instant replay throughout the game at any time. Originally, it was only used at the end of a quarter specifically for buzzer beaters. The reason for the use is to ensure an accurate game which is good for basketball.

According to an article, "Baseball Instant Replay: A Look One Year Later by SportsJudge's First-to-Third" Major League Baseball has implemented the use of instant replay during games. This was recently introduced and according to people in the league it has its pros and cons. The reason for the instant replay in baseball is to have more of an accurate game which will also help officials. One good thing about the use of instant replay is the help of insuring a fair game. One big con is the fact that it can slow a game up. overall the use of instant replay will benefit the Major League Baseball.

MLB St. Louis Cardinals Introduce Store Value Ticket Technology
According to an article by Dan Muret from the Sports Business Journal, The St. Louis Cardinals of the MLB have introduced Store-Value technology at Busch stadium. When you have the ballpark admission, you will have credit to buy food and other merchandise. This will be on the ticket bar code and included in the ticket price.
